Sleep Products
All babies are different, and what works for one baby might not work for another. However, I’ve made up a list of items that I find very helpful for my daughter’s sleep. Some of these items are great for traveling too! Pease contact me if you have any questions!
Woolino Sleep Sack
I absolutely LOVE this sleep sack. I used it with my daughter from when was 2 months old for every sleep – even naps. This sleep sack is perfect for every season, and it even comes with a temperature guide for how to dress baby! It fits until they are 2 years old as well, so for the price point, it really is worth it. It is made from merino wool, so it is great at regulating temperature and keeping babies happy and comfortable.
HALO Sleep Sack 0.5 TOG
This sleep sack is a great option for those warm summer nights with TOG of 0.5. It’s roomy – lots of room for those nighttime squirmies – and it has a two-way zipper for easy diaper changes. I used this with my own little one when she was younger and we both loved it!
HALO Sleep Sack/Swaddle
Swaddling can be so tricky, and I was constantly feeling anxious about my swaddling skills – I kept worrying that the swaddle blanket would come loose in the middle of the night and cover my baby’s face. This swaddle eased all those worries! It has Velcro wings, making it extremely easy to put on – even with the squirmiest babies. You can use it three different ways, making it a great transition swaddle. Just remember to stop swaddling at 8 weeks or at the first sign of rolling, whichever comes first!
Hatch Rest Baby
This clock is packed with useful functions! It has many different variations of white noise, an alarm clock, a nap timer, and a night light. This is such a great option for helping your child learn when it’s bedtime and wakeup time. It’s also WiFi enabled, dimmable, and you can program the colour and sound for when it’s time to sleep and time to wake up!
Portable Blackout Blinds
If you’re having issues with short naps or early morning wakeups, I highly recommend blackout blinds! These are an affordable option, and as an added bonus they are portable!
HoMedics Sound Machine
This sound machine is simple, affordable and portable. I use this for my daughter, and she is never woken up by environmental noise. The best part is, it can be plugged in or run off of batteries, so if there is ever a power outage, or you are out and about and don’t have access to a plugin, you can rest assured your little one will not be disturbed.
